it’s who we are
For me, there’s a lot of noise around family photography. In many ways it remains a bit of a mystery - there’s a lot of ‘but who does that’ and ‘how does that even work?’ And of course, there are more ‘what if’s’ than we can list in this opening paragraph.
Like everything in life, we interpret the idea of family photography in our own way, but for me it’s pretty simple - it’s about putting the connections we value most in the world front and centre. Whoever you call family, and however your family came together, my work is about writing you all into the story.

“We have now had the pleasure of having two family shoots with Sarah. She first came when our daughter was around three weeks old. Our house (and everything else) was chaotic but Sarah made it all feel so calm and so easy, and the photographs are beautiful, natural and felt so “us”.
We then most recently had photos to mark our daughters first birthday. Sarah was relaxed and accommodated unpredictable naps and weather - and she made us all so comfortable that my daughter suddenly decided to really love the camera and the photos really let her personality shine through.
